Big Day Out MA 15+
The Big Day Out 2008 is for mature audiences. Patrons under 15 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
GUIDELINES ON WHAT TO DO IF YOU ARE UNDER 15
A guardian can mean a lot of things so we need to explain what it means to the Big Day Out:
A guardian is a parent or an older brother or sister over 18
YOU WILL NEED TO BRING
- Identification for both you & your guardian and proof of how you are related (eg birth certificate)
- Proof that your guardian is over 18. This is something that we take very seriously and will be monitoring closely at the show.
Please be aware of the following:
- Your parent or guardian will need to attend the show and must have a ticket as well
- We will be making sure that your parent/guardian is REAL and is responsible
- The maximum number of people one parent can accompany is two (at least one of whom must be their own child). The maximum number a guardian can escort is 2 siblings
- Parents/guardians will be issued with a basic duty of care flyer at entry
- Most importantly, if we don't believe you, you will all be refused entry
- So, make an effort, drag along a parent or older brother or sister & have a great day!
DUTY OF CARE OF A PARENT OR GUARDIAN
- Under 15's should not enter the controlled area in front of the main stages
- Make sure you arrange meeting locations & times in the event you separate
- Under no circumstances should the parent or guardian become intoxicated
- Under no circumstances should you leave the show without the person/people you are guarding
