TRANSPORT INFORMATION
BRISBANE BUS CHARTER
Return coach service departs 9.30am from front of Roma Street Transit Centre. Tickets are $25 + BF- only available in advance from oztix. Returning bus departs venue at 11.00pm sharp.
YOUR LOCAL TRAIN STATION + THEN SHUTLLE BUS
A train runs every 30 minutes to connect with the Big Day Out shuttle bus at Helensvale between 10am to 4pm. The shuttle is $10. The shuttle bus departs venue at 9.30pm for the 10pm train and at 10.30pm for the last train at 11pm.
GOLD COAST SHUTTLE BUS CHARTER SERVICE
A Big Day Out Shuttle Bus charter service operates from the following departure points TO the event from 10am until 4pm. Departures returning FROM the event to all locations from 7pm to 11pm.
Tickets on sale at departure point in the main car park out of the front of the main gate from event staff.
SURFERS PARADISE
Shuttle bus departs from Cypress Ave Car Park, cost is $10 return.
BROADBEACH
Shuttle bus departs from Victoria Park which is on eastern side of highway opposite Jupiters., cost is $10 return.
SOUTHPORT
DEPARTURE ONLY. Drop off at Scarborough Street. Cost is $10
PLEASE NOTE – VERY IMPORTANT : Passengers must already have a Big Day Out Ticket to be allowed to get on any of these coach or bus services – no exceptions.
GOLD COAST IS A RESTRICTED SMOKING SITE
Patrons are advised that the smoking nazi’s will be on-site so please be aware;
Due to Queensland Health smoking regulations patrons are not permitted to freely smoke anywhere on site. Please use the many Smoking Only Areas that are clearly signed. You must smoke in a designated Smoking Only Area. There is a large map at the entrance that shows you where the Smoking Only Areas are located or ask our friendly security. It is an offense to smoke outside the designated Smoking Only Areas. It is an offense to continue to smoke outside the Smoking Area if directed to stop.
Smoking is prohibited in an Enclosed Place (Marquees, bars, enclosed spaces) and within 4m of an entrance to an Enclosed Place.
