FOXTEL & MTV BRING THE “FOXTEL MTV HOUSE PARTY” TO BIG DAY OUT 2013

A collaboration between Foxtel, MTV and Big Day Out set to bring a house party like no other to all East Coast locations of the Big Day Out 2013 tour.

The Foxtel MTV House Party will hit all East Coast Big Day Out locations including Sydney, Gold Coast and Melbourne. A space dedicated exclusively to Foxtel subscribers, the Foxtel MTV House Party will be a celebration for Big Day Out’s 21st birthday within each event. Foxtel subscribers will have access to the house through pre-registration via MTV and Foxtel’s Facebook pages. 

The Foxtel MTV House Party will provide the ultimate on ground experience for registered Foxtel subscribers to enjoy the Big Day Out shows in an MTV themed environment whilst also celebrating the 21st birthday of Australia’s most iconic music festival.

The multi level, demountable construction will have different areas themed to reflect MTV’s vast music offerings; MTV, MTV Hits and MTV Classic and will be an extension of Foxtel’s “Better campaign”. The house will be situated in prime viewing locations at each East Coast event and will feature a viewing platform, additional bars and provide a space for Foxtel customers to chill out away from the crowds whilst still enjoying music from their favourite Big Day Out acts.

This news also coincides with the recent announcement of the production of a special edition of MTV WORLD STAGE at Big Day Out, marking the first time an installment of the network’s global live music series has been produced in Australia. Performances from some of the biggest acts appearing at Big Day Out will be showcased during the two one-hour special editions of MTV WORLD STAGE, allowing music lovers from around the world the opportunity to experience Australia’s favourite contemporary music festival. Local and international premiere dates and additional Big Day Out on-air and online programming will be announced shortly.
