Refunds

If you are unsatisfied with the alterations to our 2014 lineup, please use the following information to obtain a refund. Refunds are available until Monday January 6, 2014, and to the original purchaser only.

First – where did you purchase your tickets from?

RETAIL SALES
If you purchased via a retail outlet, please return to that same outlet to obtain a refund.

If you have purchased through the Big Day Out website (ticketing provided by Oztix) please follow the below process in order to obtain a refund on your ticket/s. Refunds are available until Monday January 6, 2014.

IMPORTANT :

  • Please ONLY contact us ONCE YOU HAVE RECEIVED YOUR TICKETS (i.e hard tickets in the mail or your pdf tickets via email.)

Until you have received the tickets you will not have enough detail to make the refund request.

  • The person who made the original order is the only person permitted to request a refund.

All other refund requests will be denied and advised that the person who made the original order will need to contact us directly.

  • The refunded funds will go back on to the original credit card that was used to make the original purchase.

  2. You must include the following information to ensure your request is actioned;

    1. Order Number

    2. Full Name

    3. How many tickets on your order that you require to be refunded and the specific ticket numbers.

  • The ticket number is located directly underneath the barcode on your ticket – each ticket has a unique number (it can be made up of letters and numbers)

  • It is important for you to note these ticket numbers as these are the tickets that will be VOID at the event – they should be destroyed.

Once your request is received and confirmed, we will reply with an email acknowledging your request.

The ticket/s requested will be refunded back on to the original credit card. This can take up to 10 business days.

You will receive a refund receipt via email once your refund has been processed.
NOTE : Once the ticket/s are refunded they become VOID and will not be admitted entry at the event.
DO NOT sell or transfer these refunded tickets, they will be denied entry at the event.
Any refunded tickets presented at the event will result in the entire order being cancelled and you will not be able to enter the event.


GENERAL PANTS SALES

If you have purchased through General Pants please follow the below process in order to obtain a refund on your ticket/s. Refunds are available until Monday January 6, 2014. IMPORTANT :

  • The person who made the original order is the only person permitted to request a refund.

All other refund requests will be denied and advised that the person who made the original order will need to contact us directly.

  2. You must include the following information to ensure your request is actioned;

    1. Event that you purchased for i.e Gold Coast, Sydney

    2. Specific General Pants store that you purchased from

    3. Full Name of the person who paid for them in the store

    4. How many tickets on your order that you require to be refundedand the specific ticket numbers.

TICKETMASTER

For tickets purchased through Ticketmaster please email Ticketmaster Customer Service at customer.help@ticketmaster.com.au and include your order confirmation number, name, address, contact phone number, and the last 4 digits of your credit card. Refunds are available until Monday January 6, 2014, and to the original purchaser only.
